Each year in March we experience a few warm days ---  We find ourselves all too ready to believe that Spring has arrived and begin to anxiously begin plans for an early spring and getting outside again.

This year is no different.  In anticipation of warmer weather, we have ordered the garage door and standing seam metal roof for the two story garage we are building.  The second story includes a meeting room.

We are also nearing the end of the heating season, so we have included a spreadsheet below that the shows our natural gas and electric use for the past three years. Because the cost per units change, we show the amounts in several different unit measurements.

For those that would like to compare your natural gas use to ours in dollars -- so far we have spend $362.45 to heat the house from Oct. through March.

AAFCS to tour The House on Third Street

We are looking forward to welcoming American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences members to The House on Third Street on June 23rd.   The House on Third Street tour is just one of the excursions being offer in conjunction with AAFCS’ 101st Annual Conference & Expo, New Century for FCS: New Challenges, New Solutions being held in Cleveland June 24-26, 2010
